How do I choose who to see?
You will have your own reasons for looking for a Hypnotherapist or Coach and you've probably done a fair bit of research by now. It really is a good thing to look round for the person that you think is right for you. When you find someone you get on well with, it makes a world of difference. We call this 'The Therapeutic Alliance' and simply put, you will get so much more benefit from working with someone that you can trust and have confidence in.
I am a fully qualified and insured Cognitive Hypnotherapist and a member of The National Council of Hypnotherapy which implements a strict code of ethics and public protection.
How many sessions will I need?
My aim is to help you reach your goals in the shortest possible time. Treatment plans are tailored to the individual client and their presenting problem, so the number of sessions required is something best discussed on an individual basis. Everybody is unique, and so is their experience of their problem, our first session will be about identifying the patterns of thoughts and feelings that create your experience. I need to know where best to focus attention before we start changing anything. The first session usually lasts 90 minutes, so often within that time I will have the opportunity to begin working with you to the degree that you could notice a difference before the second session. Typically for most issues 3-6 sessions is sufficient.
Fees
My Fees are: £80 per session. A session lasts 60 - 90 minutes.
You can block book 3 sessions for £230.
Stop smoking package is £250.
Do you do home visits?
I do sometimes travel to see clients who for what ever reason cannot get to me. For these clients I charge my session rate plus a charge for travel and time. These charges are individual but are reasonable depending on distance. Call me now to have a chat about how that would work for you. Depending on where you are it may be preferable to work together on Skype or Zoom where distance is not a problem.

Therapeutic hypnosis, which is what you will get from me is worlds away from stage hypnosis. Nowadays we don't use swinging watches or anything of that sort. I will guide your mind to a state of awareness where your unconscious is open to suggestion. Everyone goes in and out of natural hypnotic trances every day, without perhaps knowing it. Have you ever been so absorbed in a book or film that the hours seemed to fly by? Or have you been on a train looking out the window lost in your thoughts then suddenly realise that it's your stop but you were 'miles away'? Or driving to a destination and when you get there you can't remember a lot of the journey. All these are examples of 'common everyday trance', which all of us slip in and out of. Hypnosis is like this, it is a state of concentrated awareness where you will be pleasantly absorbed in your thoughts.
Could you make me do something I don't want to do?
No, you remain in control of what you say and do at all times. You can think of me as a guide, just like you are being given directions by a passenger as you drive your car. If I tell you to turn left but if you don't wish to, then you can just choose to continue driving ahead.
